Our summer program starts on Monday, June 14th and ends on Friday, July 9th, 2010. 9AM-12PM

We offer the following courses:

Beginning Art (PreK-2nd) & Advanced Art (3rd-9th):

- 1 hour course to enhance creative abilities. Fun, hands on class.

Creative writing:

- 1 hour course includes development of written expression based upon literary works and thematic ideas. (3rd - 9th grouped by age)

Keyboarding:

- 1 hour course includes basic introduction to keyboarding, as well as, word-processing based on the child’s individual pace. (3rd-9th)

Motor Skills:

- 1 hour course includes development of fine and gross-motor skills. (PreK-2nd )

Multisensory Math:

- 1 hour course includes using manipulatives and creative ways to learn math skills. Reinforces Saxon math. (PreK-9th grouped by age)

Multisensory Science:

- 1 hour course with hands on experiments and investigations. (PreK-9th grouped by age)

Reading Comprehension:

- 1 hour course emphasizes comprehension skills and vocabulary. (PreK-9th grouped by age)

Speech & Drama Reader's Theatre:

- 1 hour course with performance and public speaking skills addressed in a fun, creative way. Enhances fluency. (3rd-9th grouped by age)

Study Skills:

- 1 hour course designed to teach outlining, organization, note taking and reference sources. (3rd-9th grouped by age)

Take Flight Reading:

- 1 hour course with a multisensory approach to reading and comprehension skills. (3rd-9th grouped by level in program; individual instruction also available)

9th - 12th:

- Courses as needed for one semester
